A loose irregular shard like a disfigured abstract animal ear.

The spectator’s flaws and the imperfection of the self, are not only expressed by the erratic shape of the work - but is further emphasised by the addition of the irregular engraved black fault line and the symbolically broken fragment separately placed at the upper left side.

The mirror becomes of portal, literally in the space, opening up the way to the spectator’s inner depth. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely, Carl Jung.
